Origin Story

Good Juju Company began with some hardship. Back in 2015, Kaitlyn was bit by a tick and became very ill with Lyme disease. The treatment required heavy doses of antibiotics which led to a cascade of other health issues. It was then that a friend suggested trying kombucha. At that point, there weren't many options on the market. Most of which were commercial and lacked good flavor. Determined to brew it for themselves, to control the ingredients and the flavor, John and Kaitlyn set out to brew delicious kombucha in the purest ways possible. 

Meet John

"Hi Everyone! My name is John. I'm the guy who brews the kombucha. My work consists of making our flavors, maintaining our SCOBY's and fermenters, packaging and delivering the kombucha, and attending some local farmer's markets.

 

My mission is to brew kombucha in a way that everyone who drinks it can experience the life changing health benefits that it has to offer. I also want to brew it in a way that is appealing and appetizing. The kombucha I brew for you is the kombucha I give to my family." 

Meet Kaitlyn

"Hi Everyone! I'm Kaitlyn. I handle a variety of things from taking orders from retailers, communicating with customers, doing social media posts, sourcing our supplies, find new retailers, and work alongside Johnny to get the booch all bottled and labeled.

 

My hope is that everyone who tries our kombucha can experience the wonderful benefits that comes from consuming it. It has transformed our physical health and I feel everyone is entitled to experience the same."

"We have been blessed with 6 healthy and beautiful boys. Our hope is to continue to prosper and grow this business in to something that will not only sustain our family now, but hopefully generations to come!"
